Bishop, Dr. Stanley Gorrell

Apostle Dr. Stanley J. Gorrell is a prophetic visionary; a servant soldier with an apostolic assignment who thirsts after the very heart of God.  He is the Founder and Overseer of The Next Dimension Tabernacle International (Brooklyn, NY), the Senior Pastor of Community Church of God In Christ (Arverne, NY) and the CEO of The Next Dimension Tabernacle Allentown Crusade Ministry (Allentown, PA).  As Senior Pastor; he stands on the “watchwords” of Isaiah 35:8. They embody the ministry standard, which is the spiritual impetus, to execute the life-altering vision and mandate that God has commanded over him.  He is appointed to minister to the multi-dimensional needs of God’s people. This charge, he executes faithfully and without restraint because “necessity is laid upon him.”  Apostle Gorrell is passionate concerning the purposes of God, and he relentlessly pursues opportunities to fulfill God’s will.

Apostle Gorrell is the Founder & CEO of Kingdom Impact Movement (K.I.M.) formally known as Next Dimension Covenant Churches (NDCC). It was birthed by the Holy Spirit to expand his spiritual “sphere of influence”. He was moved from local pastorate to one who would anticipate and meet the needs of pastors, churches and ministries. This movement has broadened regionally, nationally, and internationally. Apostle Gorrell has committed himself to covenant relationships as a father in the faith and spiritual covering to several pastors, visionaries, and ministries.  Through these covenant relationships, his ministry is impacting lives and changing the nation. He also serves as a mentor to many. Apostle Gorrell has been interviewed and featured on various media outlets including the WORD Network, TBN (Trinity Broadcast Network), IMPACT TV, LifeZone TV and a contributing writer in Harvest Christian Magazine. He has also authored a few books; The Servant & the Servant’s Heart Volumes 1&2, The Spirit of Offense- Breaking Free.

Apostle Gorrell accepted his divine charge to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world at the age of fourteen.  Ever since saying yes to the Lord, he has been spiritually equipped as an Apostle and leader to many. He is one who has been called, ordained, and chosen to lead as God’s people shift into a season of spiritual harvest.  Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, he has also been blessed to found the Next Dimension School of Theology. The mission has been “equipping the saints for the work of ministry”.  Apostle Gorrell teaches excellence in execution regarding every area of ministry.  Apostle Gorrell has entrusted every facet of his life and ministry to the hand and heart of God; as well as, committing all as vessels unto the Lord to proclaim, declaring God’s words and representing God’s manifested glory in the earth.

Sister Mireille Duclervil, MSN, BSN, RN

Sister Mireille Duclervil is a Registered Nurse who has been practicing for over 33 years. She uses her passion to service others to full health and wellness while simultaneously keeping her patients educated on their issues. She began her Nursing career graduating from Union County Community College as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She continued to practice for 9 years, while her strength of will and thirst for knowledge carried her all throughout nursing school, giving her the encouragement and support she needed to complete her nursing degree and graduate as a Registered Nurse.

Sister Mireille Duclervil received a Bachelor in Science and later a Masters in Clinical Management with Transcultural Focus. Her passion compels her to be involved in a myriad of pursuits. During school, she found the time to be an active member of the American Cancer Society. She is a member of the Nurses Service Organization and the Black Nurses Association. During her free time, she participates in the Community Health Fair with the CERCLAM Organization, she serves the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer by educating the mass population on the importance of self-breast exams and mammograms.  She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.  She volunteered and walked in multiple AIDS Awareness Walks, and completed various abstract studies on Educating Caregivers on “How to Enhance Social Skills of the Residents” which were published by Kean University.

Sister Mireille Duclervil is a Certified Nurse Evaluator and Instructor for Nursing Assistant & CPR Certified for Health Care Providers. One of her favorite pastimes is traveling. She holds a great deal of passion for it and she is at her best when taking the opportunity to explore other cultures. She’s been to 50 countries and some of her most favorite places are Australia, Norway, France, Brazil, Italy, China, South Africa, and the West Indies. 

Rev. Christopher Gorrell, THA, BBS, BRE

Minister Christopher Gorrell; a proven Servant of God, has one mission in mind and that is for God’s will to be done in the Earth. Minister Gorrell is positioning himself to become a prophetic voice as the leader Moses, to the present and future generations. He comes with a powerful testimony that has already changed the lives of many and is currently working on his first book to share it at a greater capacity.

Minister Gorrells’ compassion for people is evident in his motivation to provide people with evidence that there is another way. His powerful testimony and relationship with God have equipped him with the passion to convince others that there is a proven exit strategy in every situation.

Minister Gorrell, knowing the importance of studying God’s word; has an earned Associates degree in Christian Theology from Grace Bible College & Seminary. He also has an earned Bachelor of Science degree in Biblical and Religious studies from Isaiah University, and currently continues his education.

Minister Gorrell is currently the President of The Philanthropy Group which is a dynamic nonprofit that seeks to help those in need in the sectors of business, medical, housing as well as education. In his love for people he has devoted his time to reinvest in society to make the name of Christ known through outreach.

Minister Gorrell is a dedicated member of Community COGIC, Arverne, New York where he serves as a Youth Leader, Worship Leader and armor bearer to his father and pastor, Bishop Dr. Stanley J. Gorrell.

Minister Christopher is on his way at an accelerated rate to the destiny God has for him. 

Rev. Dr. Sophony Lamour, DD, MSJ, BA, B.R.E

ABOUT THE PRESIDENT

Evangelist Dr. Sophony Lamour is an international passionate advocate at heart.  Her sensitivity and love for international work as a steward of God has afforded her the manifold blessings of being a corporate blessing within the international community. She is the daughter of Pastor Emeritus Bernadette Lallemand – Lamour.

She currently serves as the President of Missions with S.G.M and Kingdom Impact Movement (K.I.M) under the leadership of the Bishop, Dr. Stanley Gorrell.  She is a member of the Next Dimension Tabernacle International | Community COGIC.

Evangelist Dr. Sophony Lamour worked with the Women’s Division of the General Board of Global Ministries, The United Methodist Church, located at the Church  Center for the United Nations (UN) in the area of advocacy and justice for Global Affairs, Immigrant, Civil and Human Rights on Global, Economic and Environmental Justice; liaising with UN agencies, head of states, diplomats, ecumenical ecclesiastical leaders, and inter-faith leaders, within the United Nations Community. She also served as the organization’s Alternate Representative to the United Nations and as the Rapporteur for the Ecumenical Working Group/UN Taskforce at the United Nations.  Over her 18 years within the United Nations Community she served as a team leader of Ecumenical Women 2000+ for six and a half years, training women from around the globe on how to influence UN processes with member states at the UN. As the Women’s Division transitioned into United Methodist Women, she also continued to work on accreditation compliance through the Economic and Social Council of the UN.  In addition, she later furthered her work with regulations, policies, facilitating advocacy, mobilizing members, as Associate for Global and Environmental Justice with women, children and youth.   She often likes to say that, she speaks four languages and “sometimes English” because the English language can be quite an interesting language in the industry of law, along with the complexities of international law and diplomacy.

Evangelist Dr. Sophony Lamour is an ex-officio and co-founding Board Member of the World Federation of United Nations Association (WFUNA) Chapter for Haiti, known as UNA-Haiti. She can often be heard saying “I am not my own, I belong to God’.  It is within the concept of being a child of God purposed to fulfill her call amongst the nations that she endeavors to fulfill God’s call for Kingdom Building in helping others to sustain viability now and later, as they pursue divine destiny. Evangelist Dr. Lamour is an author and is the visionary, founder and C.E.O  of Hidden Halos Kingdom Assets, Inc., and the founder of Hidden Halos, Inc.

Bishop Norman Nelson Quick

The Bishop Norman Nelson Quick was the ninth of ten children born to his parents in 1933. He received his early education in the New York City Public Schools system. He furthered his education at the City College of New York, where he graduated in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts an Education. He eventually went on to accomplish the completion of his Master of Science in Education in 1977 and also received an Honorary Doctorate from Friendship College of Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Bishop Norman N Quick was ordained as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ in 1957. He served faithfully under his pastor, and learned the leadership skills that would serve to promote him during his long years of service to the work of the Lord. He heard the call of the Lord to pastoral ministry and founded the Grace Temple Church of God in Christ, initially housed in Brooklyn, New York. As the congregation grew and developed and the vision for more ministries being birthed became apparent, God led Pastor Quick to move the congregation to Harlem, New York in 1973, Pastor Quick also began to be active in the Church Of God In Christ and came to the attention of the leadership. Upon the death of Bishop Alvin A. Childs, Pastor Quickmerged Grace Temple and Faith Temple to form the renowned Childs Memorial Temple Church of God in Christ. Childs Memorial Temple flourished under the leadership of Pastor Quick and Mother Verline Quick as a church in which the Word of God was preached mightily, ordinances administered, the doctrines of sanctification and holiness have been emphasized as being essential to the salvation of mankind.

With the issues and struggles facing the urban community, Pastor Norman Quick was intensely committed to community-based ministry, civic involvement and activism, to impact the lives of the downtrodden in the Harlem/Sugar Hill area. He founded the Grace Temple Day Care Center to prove a quality education experience to young children and also to generate jobs for many in the Harlem community. In 1982, he founded the Childs Memorial Temple Christian Academy with his wife, which provided religious and traditional education to the children of the community.

Pastor Quick was the co-founder of Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement, Inc. HE also served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the 15-million-dollar Council Enterprises of New York. Bishop Quick developed relationships with many of the active government and civic leaders in the Harlem Community, including Congressman Charles Rangel, Councilman Wendell Foster and Assemblyman Herman “Denny” Farrell. He also worked with Rev. Al Sharpton and became one of the founding members of the National Action Network. Bishop activism in many organizations and projects of local and national consideration and commitment to faith-based community and civic partnerships led to his election as President of the Council of Churches of the City of New York.

The young Pastor Quick also was very active in the work of the Church of God in Christ and through the mentoring of Bishop Alvin Childs and Bishop O.M. Kelly and began to work with and come to the notice of key national leaders including the Presiding Bishop J.0. Patterson Sr. His faithful service to the work of the Church Of God In Christ led to the signal honor of being consecrated to the Office of Bishop in the Church of God in Christ, appointed by the Presiding Bishop and General Board as the Jurisdictional Prelate of Rhode Island in 1986.  During the course of the years, Bishop served the national church in many capacities including as National Urban Affairs, Parliamentarian of the General Assembly, Chairman of the Rules Committee of the General Assembly, Board member of the Missions Department, member of the Publishing Board and a member of the Constitutional Convention Committee.

Bishop Quick made a Significant mark upon the life of the church when he was appointed President of the national Church of God in Christ Publishing Board and during his tenure was the author and publisher of wonderful topical books, “Preaching COGlC Style” and “With this Ring'” and also was the Editor-in-Chief and key driver in the great project of publishing the first ever COGlC hymn book, the “Yes Lord Hymnal”.

As Bishop continued to build the work, he felt the call to be closer to home, leaving the Rhode Island Jurisdiction and in 1992 was approved by the Presiding Bishop and General Board to become the founder and appointed Prelate of the New York Southeast Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ.

To promote bible-based education, ministry preparation and personal development, during his tenure Bishop Quick founded the Childs Memorial Bible Institute in 1976 which eventually was renamed the New York Southeast Religious Training Institute, where countless persons from various denominations have received sound biblical training as a foundation for the work of ministry. During his tenure as prelate of New York Southeast, Bishop touched the lives of many, with his skillful and deft leader’s touch, mentoring many young men and women in ministry and giving opportunities for growth in the work of the church.

Throughout the years Bishop Quick has also always shown a passion for missions and the spreading of the gospel around the world, and has personally traveled and preached to masses in nations such as Ghana, Nigeria and Israel and has also supported many churches and preachers abroad with resources and assistance, especially upon the continent of Africa.

Dr. Yvette (Gorrell) Hawkins

Dr. Yvette (Gorrell) Hawkins serves as the General Pastor of The Next Dimension Tabernacle International under the leadership of Bishop Stanley J. Gorrell (her son), where she became a part of NDCC in 2001. Throughout her life, God has placed it on Dr. Hawkins’ heart to be a help to others. This is consistently displayed through her ministry to unwed homeless mothers. She has opened her doors both to unwed mothers and fathers when their biological families were not able to or chose not to help them. She has given young women the opportunity to better themselves. Most of who are on their way to becoming successful women of God. She continues to be a mentor, mother, counselor and strong example of how a woman of God should conduct herself in ministry.

Dr. Hawkins’ life is a living testimony that “God will never leave nor for sake you”! She also serves as the Shepard Mother and Prophetess for The Next Dimension Tabernacle. Dr. Hawkins continues to be an example for others, always upholding herself with class, character, integrity and excellence, and most importantly giving God all the Glory and the Honor due to Him.

Emeritus Pastor Bernadette Lamour

Emeritus Pastor Bernadette Lamour was born on October 17, 1939 in Port-au- Prince, Haiti. She was born again at the age of twenty-five year. She embraced Pentecostalism and was filled with the Holy Ghost upon receiving her call to the ministry. She embarked on a study to show herself approved unto God in 1964, when she began to win souls, counsel, and evangelize. Pastor Lamour attained a Bachelor of Theology Degree from The New York School Bible Institute, a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Brevair School and an Associate Degree in fashion from Brodarie Fashion School of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti.

Called to the ministry, Pastor Lamour has for over forty-nine years worked in different ministerial leadership capacities and brought many to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. She is mightily used of God in deliverance, healing and spiritual warfare. As a now retired pastor and international Evangelist from 1964, she has conducted numerous evangelical crusades and leadership conferences throughout the United States and the West Indies.

She founded and served as Pastor of the first Haitian Church of God in Mt. Vernon, N.Y. In 1995 it later became the Haitian Church of God In Christ under the New York Southeast Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Churches Of God In Christ, with the late Bishop Norman N. Quick as Prelate.  Rev. Lamour is an emeritus Pastor of the Church Of God In Christ. Prior to that, Pastor Lamour served at Church of God Manhattan, Harlem, NY as an Assistant Pastor for twenty-one years. In 1995 she was appointed as Senior Pastor by the Church of God World Mission and she founded the new Church of God Mt. Vernon, NY branch in 1995.  She was consecrated into the ministry as the full time Pastor at Church of God Mt. Vernon, New York; managing the church, overseeing the overall administration of the Church of God Mt. Vernon, New York; conducting special events and outings such as retreats, Hospital ministries, Nursing Home ministries, Home Prayer, Prison ministries, seminars, conferences…etc.

Emeritus Pastor Lamour liaised with the Haitian Community and engaged residents not just in the affairs of the church but to also engage with their respective communities for the up-building of their communities. She appreciates the important role the family plays in the lives of our young people; consequently, Pastor Lamour has instituted monthly activities that seek to engage all members of the family such as Christian Education,  artistical recreation, Liturgical Dance, Music, Men’s and Women’s Ministries; Missionary Outreach Ministries, Counseling both Singles and Marriage Ministries; Prayer and Evangelistic Street & Outreach Ministries; Young adult ministry and Sunday morning Praise and Worship service. She served the Church of God of Mt. Vernon for over fifteen years.

Despite her retirement, Pastor Bernadette Lamour, continues faithfully to serve communities.  At Church of God Harlem, NY and at other churches, she on occasion is called in to speak and or also teaches new member baptism classes’ orientation and the evening Baptism classes. She also served as a foster parent with the focus of helping young people with self-confidence, personal growth and to inspire them to greatness and community service.

Emeritus Pastor Bernadette Lamour served as a certified HIV and AIDS temperament counselor, and a professional clinical member of the Christian Pastors Counselors Association with the EMG Health Communication Organizations Brooklyn, NY. Pastor Lamour for over 10 years was actively involved with community people who are infected with HIV and AIDS and received many awards for her dedicated service to the community.

Emeritus Pastor Lamour worked in the full capacity of her knowledge of teaching, mentoring, nurturing, and Challenging ministers of the gospel to greater heights in the Lord. Pastor Lamour holds a deep and abiding passion for global discipleship making. She believes that Jesus uniquely created the church to impact the world with the message of the Gospel. Her philosophy of ministry is people centered and scripturally rooted in 2 Corinthians 1:24, “Not that we lord it over your faith, but we work with you for your joy, because it is by faith you stand firm.” Pastor Lamour believes that churches thrive when pastor and people work together for the glory of God and for the advancement of the Gospel.  She strives for excellence in her walk with Christ, and by God’s grace continuously bound for greatness; a virtuous woman with a powerful and unique anointing.

Emeritus Pastor Bernadette Lamour is the blessed and proud parent of three children and seven grandchildren, and has been a resident of Harlem, NY for over forty-years; while ministering in Mount Vernon over twenty years.

Evangelist Marie Josee Francois

Evangelist Marie Josee Francois has been on different missionary assignments to places such as Honduras, Haiti, Antigua & Barbuda to make a difference in the lives of individuals through churches. She serves in her local congregation with different missionary projects.
Evangelist Marie Josee Francois, is a consummate professional, with a compelling 15+ years of managerial execution of mission-critical services, is well-versed in: Care Management, Health Home Care, control regulations, compliance and monitoring of federal, state and city regulations for implementation of laws to ensure quality assurance in the standard of care and service delivery.
Evangelist Francois, serves as NYC Borough Director for Housing Works, where she oversees health delivery services, develop strategies to address challenges with Health Home policy and procedure. She implements policies and procedures and spearheads compliance in accordance with City and State regulations for the Department of Health and Lead Health Home Agency.

In addition, Evangelist Francois Supervises a staff of 20+ employees, managing public relations and assuring improvement to policies, while providing cross-functional leadership, leading initiatives to develop relationship and promote change within communities.

Evangelist Francois, is an experienced Social Worker, is a graduate of Yeshiva University with a Master of Social Work. She has worked as Director, at Harlem Hospital and in other supervisory positions within the City of New York. Amongst her many supervisory roles, is her experience working at the Diaspora Community Services, where she supported clients with HIV/AIDS in facilitating independent living in society, ensuring the rights of clients through advocacy, developing comprehensive plans for migrants’ stability and creating linkages with community providers and coalitions for coordinated care plans.

Evangelist Letisha Malcolm, Ed.D. Candidate

Determined to make a better life for herself and others, Letisha Malcolm is a staunch advocate for equity, education, and social policy. Starting her career in education as an intern at the Florida Department of Education Division of Blind Services in 2009, assisting with creating reading materials into Braille and audio formats for individuals with visual, physical, or reading disabilities, she now serves as a fifth-grade teacher in Prince George’s County Public Schools in Maryland, as well as an educator’s union representative, a Talented and Gifted Coordinator, and a Reading Professional Development Lead Teacher. 

From the time she completed her bachelor’s degree at Bethune Cookman University in Florida to now being a doctoral candidate at Morgan State University in Maryland in the Urban Educational Leadership and Social Policy program, she has served as a Teacher Assistant at Indian River State College in the Division of Minority Affairs (FL.), a Donor and Alumni gifts caller at Shenandoah University in the Office of Advancement (VA.), and Academic Advisor and Adjunct Faculty at Coppin State University (MD). Additionally, she holds a master’s degree from Shenandoah University in Virginia, and a Minister’s Diploma from the Refreshing Spring Church Of God In Christ Bible Institute in Maryland where Bishop James E. Jordan is the pastor. 

Letisha’s spiritual foundation was laid from a young child in the Eastern Florida Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church Of God In Christ under Bishop Jacob Cohen where she served in the Sunday School Department. In 2019, she was appointed by Bishop James E. Jordan as the G.E. Patterson Memorial District Sunday School Field Representative, and in 2020, Letisha was appointed as the Department of Missions Vice President in the Greater Maryland First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction where General Secretary Bishop Joel H. Lyles is her prelate. Most recently, Letisha was accepted into the U.S. Department of State’s Fulbright Program where she will be researching history and cultural curriculum and instruction in Ghana.

Bishop Leon D. Pamphile 

Bishop Leon Pamphile was born in Haiti.  He was educated at the Lycée Pétion in Port-au-Prince.  In July 1968, he received a law degree from the Port-au-Prince School of Law and Economic Studies and graduated from the ECOLE NORMALE SUPERIEURE of the University of Haiti in 1969.  Upon coming to the United States in 1970, he pursued further academic studies at the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary where he received a M.A. in Religion in 1974.  He also attended the University of Pittsburgh, which awarded him a Ph.D. in Education in 1980. 

Bishop Leon Pamphile is an educator and a historian focusing on the relations between Haiti and the United States.  He is the author of five books and numerous articles on the subject.  His research is also centered on the ties linking Haitians and African Americans.  In his book, Haitians and African Americans: A Heritage of Tragedy and Hope, he highlights the common struggle of these two peoples to conquer slavery, racism, discrimination and the socioeconomic sequels stemming from this historical predicament.   

Bishop Leon Pamphile is also an inspirational writer seeking to empower people to fulfill their full God-given potentials.  He has published two books on this topic: The Mind of Christ: your Weapon of Victory and Adjusting to Life’s Changing Seasons. 

The primary vision of his life lies in empowering Haitians through Christ with education, health care and hope. In 1983, he founded the Functional Literacy Ministry of Haiti, Inc., a 501(c3) organization, which operates 75 literacy centers in Haiti currently serving 4500 participants, a primary school with an average enrollment of 600 students.  This organization also operates the Excelsior Technical Institute (ETI) which trains young people to find jobs and become productive citizens.  FLM-Haiti known as Alliance d’Action Chrétienne (AAC) in Haiti is also a Non-Governmental organization (NGO) in that country.  

Since 2000, the FLM-Haiti has been providing medical care for the needy through Winter and Summer Medical Missions to Haiti.  Some 10,000 people have been helped through this program.  FLM-Haiti built with the help of the Building Goodness Foundation of Charlottesville, VA a Community Health Center to provide medical care to the 30,000 residents in the rural communities of Laboule, Thomassin and surrounding areas. 

 In November 2011, Bishop Charles E. Blake elevated Leon Pamphile to become jurisdictional Bishop of the Church of God in Christ of Haiti.  He supervises 105 churches throughout the country. His vision focuses on evangelization to bring to all the good news of the Gospel as the instrument of hope.  He is also promoting education through adult literacy, formal education for the young, the establishment of a Seminary for the training of Haitian pastors.  He has also established a branch of the well-known University Jean Price Mars on the COGIC campus operating a Nursing School.  He believes in the rebuilding of Haiti on a durable foundation through education and the light of the Gospel. 

Bishop Leon Pamphile is married to Rozelle Pamphile, now First Lady of COGIC HAITI.  They are blessed with three children and four grandchildren. 

Mr. Albert Gyan

Mr. Albert Gyan has a passion for innovative solutions for addressing social problems to create positive social change. He works with ecumenical networks, churches, and non-governmental organizations on issues of economic justice and the mechanisms of impoverishment. Presently, he is dedicated to advocating for international trade and financial systems that are fair and truly representative of all people via the United Nations Financing for Development process. He provides advisory and capacity-building services for advocacy at the United Nations on Financing for Development for civil society organizations from the Global South, with special focus on Africa. He has also successfully invested in commercial projects in eco-tourism, real estate and alternative energy ventures in Ghana.

Mr. Albert Gyan currently runs a consultancy providing services and expertise on United Nations advocacy, development finance and social entrepreneurship. He has dedicated his professional career to advocacy; amplifying the voice of the voiceless to right wrongs and injustices. Schooled in Catholic social teachings at an early age, Mr. Gyan is committed to participatory advocacy in the solution seeking process, and is ardent about articulating the ethical and moral imperatives of socio-economic issues. He has been working in 25 countries alongside grassroots groups advocating at the United Nations. He served as the United Nations Representative for Church World Service, a consultant to the World Council of Churches and represented the Anglican Observer to the United Nations on Economic Justice and Climate Change issues at the United Nations.

Evangelist Terrell Brown

Evangelist Terrell Brown is a passionate intercultural expert with a blend of experience, which includes radio, public speaking, in diverse settings. He is experienced in Television Broadcasting, audio-visual sound engineering and Social Media Outreach. He manages the K.I.M. television production as well as several social media platforms.

Amongst his degrees is an Associates in Business Management and a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design.  He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Relations. His Public Relations focal point is based in the City of New York, within the borough of Brooklyn.

The combination of degrees integrated with his ability to understand business motives, operations, management, and branding is competitive. His work explores the relationship between identities, finding a new way to shifting forms with reconfigurations through boundaries and diverse practice, leaves the viewer with an insight into the outposts of the future.

Ms. Shana Harmongoff

Ms. Shana Harmongoff, is a native New Yorker with a diverse background. She holds a Juris Master and Juris Doctor from the Appalachian School of Law.  She currently serves as the District Office Director for a New York State Senator. Ms. Harmongoff has been selected as one of the “City & State NYC 40 Under 40 Rising Stars” where she was featured in the City & State magazine.

Ms. Harmongoff serves as Chair of the Outreach Committee for the Appalachian School of Law Alumni Association and serves as an Executive Board member of the Alumni Association.  She is a proud member of the Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.

Ms. Harmongoff is an experienced licensed Property Manager. She served as

ex-officio of the Board of Directors for Esplanade Gardens, Inc., one of the largest Co-Op Developments in Harlem, NY.

In 2010, Ms. Harmongoff enjoyed holding the title of Mrs. South Carolina International where she went on to compete for the national title of Mrs. International. She is the proud mother of two children.  She loves helping people and giving back to her Harlem community.

Sister Stanisha J. I. Byrd

Sister Stanisha J. I. Byrd is a faithful, devout, and committed servant, chosen and called by God for the work of ministry.  Her practical ministry to the pastor and church is a true testimony of the heartfelt work of a servant in different aspects of church work.  Sister Stanisha is an asset to her pastor in strengthening the work of the local church.

In addition, she is also a professional with 10+ years of experience in home health care. A consummate caring and compassionate healthcare worker with excellent patient service skills. She is experienced with providing care to diverse patients, monitoring health, managing physical therapy care, administering therapeutic assistance and general health management. She has a compassionate love for recovery care and special needs care.

Ms. Lourdes Rivera-Putz

Lourdes Rivera-Putz is the co-founder and Executive Director of United We Stand of New York (UWS), a federally and state funded Community-based Parent Resource Center for individuals with disabilities and their families in the boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens.

She served as a member of the N.Y.S. Commissioner’s Advisory Panel to Special Education as well as an Advocacy Specialist on a Governor’s appointed position at the N.Y.S. Commission on Quality of Care for Person’s with Disabilities.  She also served a 5-year term as a member of the Governing Board to the Regional Educational Laboratory for the Northeast & Islands (REL-NEI) which provides evidenced based best practices to educators’ pre-k – 12, that lead to improved student achievement and reduce performance gaps.   Lourdes served 3 years on the CONNECT Steering Committee, a web-based online training project offering professional development resources that focus on working with young children and their families in a variety of learning environments and inclusive settings. She is one of the founding board members and has served for 8yrs on the board of trustees at NYC’s first charter High School.

As the Executive Director of UWS, her passion for her work and leadership, have resulted in UWS providing advocacy services to thousands of families, and in doing so she has created opportunities for improving the quality of education for students with a disability.  Lourdes has through the years established a network among community-based organization.  She has worked in collaboration with the Beach Center at the University of Kansas, on research and best practice-based projects.  She is a founding member of the National Grassroots Consortium on Disabilities, which is made up of 15 community-based organizations that represent under-served and under-represented communities throughout the country.

Lourdes has received various awards of recognition such as the Community Leadership and Empowerment – Monsignor Walter J. Vetro Award and the Lawrence Cooke Peace innovator Award as well as the Leadership and Service Award for over 20 years of service to Individuals with Disabilities and their Families.

Lourdes’ driving commitment is to ensure that individuals with disabilities have a voice, and that in doing so, her vision for creating a community that offers equal opportunities to all children and youth will come to fruition.

Bishop Muhangenu Hichika Ghilain

Bishop Muhangenu Hichika Ghilain was born in and resides in the Democratic Republic of Congo in Central Africa. He is the Pastor of Temple Victoire de Lubumbshi COGIC.  He has served for thirty-one years as a missionary. He was then appointed as Bishop of the COGIC First Jurisdiction of the Democratic Republic of Congo by Bishop Charles E.  Blake and serves under the leadership of Bishop Matthew Vincent, the President of the Missions Department, of the Churches of God in Christ.

Bishop Ghilain oversees one hundred and fifteen churches, manages two orphanages in the country. In accordance with Romans 1:1, Bishop Ghilain is called to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, to transform, influence and impact environments through philanthropic work.  He is married to Sister Nelly Tumba Hichika.

Missionary Michelle Briggs,

 Missionary Michelle Briggs is a kind and compassionate woman. She is a lover of the Word of God. She read the Bible in its entirety three times and continues to do so.

She is a Missionary in training. She holds an Associate Degree in Theological Studies and is a candidate for the Bachelors in Theology. She is committed to service. She serves on three non-profit Boards and loves what she does. She enjoys reading and writing.

Missionary Michelle Briggs desires to have her own non- profit business as a Humanitarian Aid Philanthropist. She loves to give and volunteer to those in need. She wants to travel the globe to help those who are less fortunate and those who are in need. This is her heart’s desire.
